Children with cancer are smiling at a Flashes of Hope outdoor portrait session at Indian Summer Camp. It’s was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. There were over a hundred kids at camp and that were photographed. The image below is a small group of the kids that attended. This was Flashed of Hope’s first year…I am so glad to be involved with FOH and for sure I will be there next year too!!!!
Indian Summer Camp is a popular one-week program for children ages 7-17 who have or have had cancer. Held each summer at Camp Cedarmore near Bagdad, KY, the free camp offers swimming, crafts, hiking, fishing, archery, and campfires under the stars as a welcome break from hospitals, doctors, and treatment sessions. The camp offers the opportunity to grow, learn, and build self reliance.
Flashes of Hope: Flashes of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating powerful, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer.
Help us honor the courage of every child with cancer and fund research so they will have the chance to create a lifetime of memories.
